Northern Sons is an acoustic duo born from the bond of two college roommates turned lifelong friends — Brendan Coulter (Toledo, OH) and Gianni Palmarini (Philadelphia, PA). With Gianni on piano and Brendan on guitar, their seamless vocal blend and magnetic chemistry create a sound that feels both nostalgic and new. Spanning across genres, Northern Sons are known for their clever acoustic takes on beloved songs and powerhouse performances that leave audiences captivated. What started as late-night jam sessions in a dorm room has evolved into a dynamic partnership built on friendship, harmony, and an undeniable passion for music.

Alex Miller moved to New York from Ohio in 2009. He's been playing at Prohibition ever since and is a regular in the New York bar-gig scene. His wide variety of covers range from classic rock and folk hits of the 60s and 70s (Eagles, Neil Young, Grateful Dead, etc), to new wave from the 80s (Talking Heads, Tears For Fears, etc), to 90s rock (Hootie and The Blowfish, Pearl Jam, Eve 6, etc), to 2000s pop (Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, etc). Always motivated by patrons having a good time, he's happy to play a request if he knows how... and sometimes he'll even try one if he doesn't. Kyle Lacy is a guitarist and singer from Atlanta, Georgia and was born in 1990; however, his time machine made a quick refueling stop in 1956 and he was quickly infected with the DNA that gave birth to Rock’n’Roll. He has been living, performing, recording, and producing in the New York area since 2013. While on the road with his first band Harlem River Noise he developed a blues and soul driven guitar and vocal style that has been the cornerstone of his songwriting. He played the legendary Rockabilly festival Viva Las Vegas in 2019 and spent 2 years on the road full-time before going solo.

His debut album “The Road to Tomorrow” was released in 2020 by Brooklyn-based Dala Records. The album's lead single “Low and Slow” was played on BBC radio and described as a “Trunk of Funk” by the Craig Charles Funk and Soul show. “A fine mix of soul, blues, gospel and rock ‘n’ roll that deserves a larger audience” (AddtoWantlist). 

Kyle also has cheekbones for days and hair that Elvis stole (remember that time machine?) His 2nd album Pleasurecraft is out January 20, 2023 on Lacy Records. Any given Saturday, you can find him holding forth in his residency at Club Groove in the West Village. Through Lacy Records he has produced releases for singer songwriter Warren Malone and he also plays in and produces local alt-rock heroes Mel and the Tall Boys.

The Speak Lows are a newly formed trio featuring singer/songwriter/guitarist Tony Hoylen, pianist/songwriter Mark Berman, and bassist/composer Dave Richards.

On their own, these talented NYC performers have played with some of the biggest names in music (Aretha Franklin, Gladys Night, The Indigo Girls, Rosanne Cash, Jewel) and worked on the hottest Broadway shows (The Boy From Oz, Smokey Joe’s Café, Rent) as well as Television with Mark as a special cast member of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Together, the Speak Lows’ blend of musical prowess and soulful vocals creates a sound and style uniquely their own. Their set includes a fresh take on a range of covers (from Johnny Cash to CeeLo Green), original songs, stories, and even some jazz standards.

Back Seat Cabbie is the live band project of NYC performer Brian Halloran. Halloran adopted the name to differentiate from his many solo performances, and employs an ever expanding/rotating stable of top NYC musicians, most frequently bassist Rob DeMartino & drummer Tommy Anderson.

Velise is a singer-songwriter, with a voice and style that blends many times and places. Being a true NY city-suburb-country hybrid, Velise has created a truly New York sound. Her self-titled debut EP was released in December 2024. The album's purpose is to "inspire whoever listens to persevere, no matter the circumstances, with the ultimate motivation being love".

Ryan Jacob Doyle (Vocals/Guitar) & Lena Pasqualetti (Violin/Vocals) have a special bond of music and romance that creates a mesmerizing, sonically awing, pop-rock duo!

The powerhouse couple has resumes ranging from playing in Dubai, to world wide touring and Ryan opening for Paul McCartney at London’s Hyde Park.

In the States, Telephone tag is full-time on the road living and touring in their RV.

With an EP dropping in the spring of 2024, ‘Tt’ just announced a European Summer Tour in support of the record.

Investing everything into a project and a dream; ‘Tt’s’ goal is to create smiles everyday by sharing their love & music wherever, whenever, and however they can.

Isabel is a pop singer/songwriter in NYC who brings the good vibes! Every Saturday night she plays piano and sings at another Upper West Side spot, the Arthouse Hotel. At Prohibition, she is joined by Skyler Fortgang on drums, Steph Chow on guitar and Thomas Carley on bass, as well as Gabe Kuslansky on piano for a few numbers. Isabel loves music from the 70s, 00s and everything in between. Alicia Keys, Carole King, Elton John, Lady Gaga…any hit song with piano and vocals, she’ll play it!

Stephen Coakley is a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter, actor, and pianist who has spent the past four years performing in piano bars aboard cruise ships, traveling to over 50 countries, and most recently completing a 125-day Grand World Cruise.  As an actor and music director, he’s performed in regional theaters all across over the country and has composed for groups like Nashville in Harmony and the New York Musical Festival. His original music is available to stream everywhere, blending his gift for storytelling with a soulful, catchy flair. When not at the piano or onstage, you can find him hiking the nearest trail or upside-down on his yoga mat.
