WAZA is one of the most exciting and fun rock cover bands in the Tri-State area, having been on the scene for 6+ years.

Ella Galvin is a vocalist and songwriter originally from Boston, MA and now based in New York City. She got her start singing in a couple of Boston funk/rock bands before moving to Manhattan to focus on her own music. She is often playing solo or duo guitar sets at bars around the city, fronting a 5-piece band at venues like Pianos, Berlin Under A, and Arlene’s Grocery. Her sound pulls from Amy Winehouse, RAYE, Stevie Wonder, Olivia Dean, The 1975, Lake Street Dive, Lily Allen, Janelle Monáe and more. Sydney Stephan (she/her) is a powerhouse piano vocalist in New York City. She’s been seen all over the world with Armed Forces Entertainment, Howl at the Moon, Holland America Line & Norwegian Cruise Line. Back Seat Cabbie is the live band project of NYC performer Brian Halloran. Halloran adopted the name to differentiate from his many solo performances, and employs an ever expanding/rotating stable of top NYC musicians, most frequently bassist Rob DeMartino & drummer Tommy Anderson.

Kelsey Pierce is a New York City based singer-songwriter.  Joined by bassist/guitarist/songwriter Immanuel Williams, Kelsey plays a wide range of covers. With an adaptable voice that sounds equally at home on powerhouse songs like Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” as it does on more delicate ballads like “How Deep Is Your Love”, Kelsey comfortably brings her own sound to your favorite songs.  Together, Kelsey and Immanuel have an easy and welcoming chemistry, and they invite you to make the night your own - feel free to make requests! Alex Miller moved to New York from Ohio in 2009. He's been playing at Prohibition ever since and is a regular in the New York bar-gig scene. His wide variety of covers range from classic rock and folk hits of the 60s and 70s (Eagles, Neil Young, Grateful Dead, etc), to new wave from the 80s (Talking Heads, Tears For Fears, etc), to 90s rock (Hootie and The Blowfish, Pearl Jam, Eve 6, etc), to 2000s pop (Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, etc). Always motivated by patrons having a good time, he's happy to play a request if he knows how... and sometimes he'll even try one if he doesn't.
