Miller’s voice projects something smooth and refreshing. His sound, deep and unique, stretches across a variety of instrumental influences from Phish to Queens of the Stone Age to John Mayer. He came out with this first CD, “Off Season,” at 18, to a crowd of summer acquaintances in 2004. A growing audience encouraged him to invest in a major recording “Just a Dream” released in August 2010. Overwhelmed by the success of his CD release at New York City’s Canal Room, Miller spent months self-booking and self-promoting a successful nationwide summer tour in 2011. As his foot was out the door for that tour in May 2011, a group of investors agreed to support his working on a third CD, titled “Chin Up, Buckle Down, and Let Go.” The songs on this CD chronicle a generic journey across the nation as well as specific events that occurred at stops along the way. “Chin Up, Buckle Down, and Let Go” will release in May 2012. Miller says: “As much fun as it is to be a singer/songwriter, I still prefer the energy of a crowd.” Since moving to New York in 2009, he has played at a number of venues including (le) Poisson Rouge, The Canal Room, The Knitting Factory, Rockwood Music Hall, The Living Room, The Bitter End, National Underground, and his regular spot–Prohibition. Miller relishes in gaining a fan base and getting his songs heard “the old fashion way”– by performing them.
John Schmitt was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, and his songs are a direct reflection of his experiences growing up there. His simple, honest approach tells stories that hit at the heart of American life. Blending a folk-meets-soul style to go along with thoughtful lyrics and images, John sings about his life in real terms. His album “Ophelia,” released on 11/12/10, is his loftiest work to date. Seen at Prohibition on many Thursday nights at Prohibition, John and his incredible band play a rump-shakin’ and party rockin’ mix of jams. From Biz Markie to Bill Withers, the effortlessly charismatic John Schmitt creates an energetic vibe that lights up any concert hall.
Hearing is believing, from the Bee Gees to Frankie Avalon, to the Beatles to Beach Boys, you name, they can do it!
Smooth singer-songwriter & virtuosity guitar player, his style sounds like if John Mayer & Prince gave birth to a new sound that was mentored by the one and only Quincy Jones.
Eastside Mix puts a unique spin on the Billboard Top 40 with creative mashups, transitions and choreography.

Kate Mills is making her presence in the NYC music scene felt with the the recent release of her debut EP, Little Bird. The record showcases the versatility of her smooth, buttery vocals and the well-crafted songs ranging from the soulful and sultry “Little Bird,” to the fun, romantic single, “Cherry Tree” which makes the listener feel like they are on a stroll through Central Park on a Saturday afternoon.
In the brief time leading up to the EP release, this social worker-turned-songwriter has gained a solid fan-base by performed at some of New York’s most famous music venues including The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall and Pianos. She has been interviewed on several local radio programs including “Mind Over Music” hosted by Cari Cole. In this short time Kate has earned two nominations in the 2013 JAM Awards, and landed multiple TV performances, such as “The Gimme Mo Show” hosted by “High School Musical’s” Monique Coleman. In the coming spring, two of Kate’s songs can be heard in the feature film “Hits,” written and directed by David Cross of “Arrested Development”
Kate, who has been performing in front of audiences since she was 9, is no stranger to the stage. As a pre-teen, her voice carried her to multiple musical theater opportunities from performances with Debbie Gibson at the Merriam Theater in Philadelphia, to the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. Throughout her adolescence, Kate continued to develop her piano and vocal skills while writing original music and performing in local showcases.
In college, Kate was a founding member of the band Drive Thru Parking, where she fell in love with the recording process. The group toured the northeast for several years, including a performance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia in January of 2010. After 5 years with the band, Kate felt it was time to pursue her solo career in New York City and she and the band parted ways.
While Kate was transporting her large keyboard to and from rehearsals and performances, she was also juggling a rigorous course load at the University of Pennsylvania, earning her Master’s in Social Work. As one who continues to work towards raising awareness of emotional and mental health issues, Kate is always looking for opportunities to merge her love of music with the pursuit of social good. “I believe music, at it’s core, is emotional. It’s not only a platform for raising awareness about important social issues, but music itself can offer healing, expression, and create genuine connections that help us feel less isolated and alone.” She continues to draw on her experiences as an adolescent social worker in her songwriting.

In 2015, Gideon King & City Blog(GKCB) released a full length CD, City Blog. King has a reputation as a rising force in the New York fusion/rock/jazz scene and has worked with John Scofield, members of Steely Dan, Conrad Sewell, and many other musical giants.
GKCB will be releasing their newest album, Upscale Madhouse, in March of 2018 and studio reports suggest that if anything the work is even more refined, abstract, and compelling than in the first release. The album features musical luminaries such as solo artist Marc Broussard, Grammy winner Grace Weber (Chance The Rapper), legendary guitarist John Scofield, Conrad Sewell (Kaigo), Elliott Skinner (Third Story), Gregoire Moiret (The Pat Metheny Group), James Genus (Daft Punk, Herbie Hancock), Kevin Hayes (John Scofield, Steve Gadd), Carolyn Leonhart (Steely Dan), Donny McCaslin (David Bowie), Brendan Fletcher (semifinalist on The Voice), and many more top flight musicians.
It doesn’t stop there though, as the album includes work from established New York City session musicians and producers such as Adrian Harpham (Dr. John, Joss Stone), Nathan Peck (Alex Skolnick Trio), Grammy winner Luques Curtis (Eddie Palmieri), Donald Edwards (Wynton Marsalis, Freddie Hubbard), Bryan Reeder (Chris Norton), among others. He has also introduced a number of incredibly talented up-and-coming musicians into the mix such as Kate Kelsey-Sugg, Mike Stephensen, and Liam Budge.
GKCB is excited to announce that as part of their evolution they are at long last performing live. King has assembled an impressive group of musicians, nearly all of whom are part of Upscale Madhouse, to perform in select venues. The first few shows have been packed-house affairs and extremely well-received.

Raised in a musical family that helped to shape and cultivate his talent, Newark, New Jersey’s 21-year old Victor DaZe’s talent was evident early on—singing and dancing from as early as the 3rd grade. Victor adds, “I’m the youngest of 6 siblings, and they all have supported me in their own ways—always giving me great advice. My mom sang opera when I was growing up, so music has always been around me—from Pop/R&B, to Hip-hop, Soul, Classical, Rock and Jazz. I get new ideas and inspiration from a little bit of every musical style that’s out there.” Victor DaZe is also a musician and songwriter.
Growing up, Victor DaZe was strongly influenced by legendary artists Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Michael Jackson, and Prince. Today, he is impacted by the music of Usher, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Miguel, and Chris Brown. Victor’s own sound has been described as a blend of Pop and R&B, with a little taste of Funk. His vocal sound makes his music feel unique and distinctively all its own. This kid also has a great look, is a trained dancer, models, and also has experience acting. Make no mistake — Victor DaZe is the total package.
A graduate of The New Jersey Performing Arts Center Scholarship Program, Victor DaZe has not only been a student of singing—currently being trained by Troy Randall (Patti LaBelle, Wyclef Jean, TLC0.He’s worked with Nat Adderly Jr. (Musical Director for Luther Vandross). Victor has been in multiple theatrical performances. He recently acted and sang in Black Nativity at Crossroads Theatre, Directed by Lee Trusdale and Obediah Wright. Some of his past works include the role of “Judas” in Jesus Christ Superstar, “Miss Roj” in The Colored Museum, and Laertes in Hamlet. Victor studied acting with celebrity acting coach John Pallotta and Wendy McKenzie. He’s also trained in many dance styles, taught by Alfred Gallman, Obediah Wright and Jay Skeete Lee.
In addition to pursuing his love of the arts, Victor was awarded The Governor's Award for Music, The Music Award from The New Jersey Board of Freeholders, and was a finalist in The New Jersey “Shout Down Drugs” televised competition. One of Victor’s performance highlights was being able to sing and perform in Italy, performing as a soloist and also with a full choir everyday for 20 days. As a member of the Rutgers choir he traveled and sang in Germany. He studies Music and Theatre at Rutgers University. His film credits include the tv shows, NBC’s , "The Mysteries of Laura," Investigation Discoveries, “The Perfect Murder” the TV Pilot, “The Internet Ruined My Life” and has done a children's indie film, "The Bird Who Couldn't Fly." He can also be seen in the film shorts, “Breathe Please” as Zeph and “Backstage” as Dominic.
With Victor’s unmistakable blend of Pop-driven, Hip-hop, and R&B—it goes without saying that anticipation for a new music release from this one-of-a-kind talent has been running high. DaZe delivers beyond expectations on “Movin On” — a vibrant, musically diverse song that sets a Rock-layered Lenny Kravitz feel guitar riff with an anthem-styled Soulful, Pop melody. DaZe also shines on “I Apologize” — a Pop/Hip-Hop, vocal-rich driven song that is well produced, and has a memorable hook with a head-nodding beat. Both songs are soon to be released as singles with the help of his producers of Royal Heat Entertainment.
Stay on the lookout for this young new rising star, as songs are being released, along with the launch of his YouTube channel. Victor is also preparing an exciting show to support and promote his new releases, so you’ll be able to catch him live in concerts, and also on the web performing. In closing, Victor adds, “I’ve been working hard, not just for myself, but I really want this and hope my fans appreciate my music, my acting… all of me. I want people to hear my music and feel good; help them get over or out of that relationship, or give them hope. I want my music to be an experience—a good one.”
Upon arriving in New York as a graduate student in the late 1980s, James Gedeon immediately began honing his craft in the Greenwich Village music scene in storied venues like The Village Gate, The Back Fence and The Red Lion. By the mid 90s, James had developed a reputation as a singer and songwriter able to make even individuals in the farthest reaches of a venue feel as though they were right up front.
James has since performed at New York's famed LeCirque; The Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center and The Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom where he was part of the opening band for Dan Aykroyd and the Blues Brothers at The Alzheimer's Foundation annual fundraiser. He has also been able to take his music to areas outside of New York, having performed in Washington D.C. at the Smithsonian; The Harvard Club in Boston; in West Virginia at the renowned Greenbrier Resort; the Rocky Mountain resort of Flathead Lake in Kalispell, Montana; Mauna Kea Resort in Kailua Kona, Hawaii; The Ocean Club (twice) on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, and he even performed for the King and Queen at the Royal Palace in Morocco.
James has also taken the stage at Pebble Beach Golf Club in California with New York's acclaimed Stingers Band (a gig that had James providing an acoustic opening set for comedian Jerry Seinfeld's performance to an audience that included Clint Eastwood). In addition, he's opened for America, The Marshall Tucker Band, Jay Leno, Dana Carvey and Livingston Taylor. He has also performed with guitarists Oz Noy and Bernie Williams, drummers Dave Weckl and Steve Holley, sax man Mark Rivera (Billy Joel, Ringo Starr, Foreigner) and shared the stage at a private event in Vermont with Harry Connick, Jr.
James also performed at the wedding of radio personality Howard Stern. During the ceremony, James accompanied Dixie Chick Natalie Maines on the couple's wedding song, and followed that up by performing 3 duets with music icon Billy Joel. Later that same night, as a member of the house band, James backed up Phoebe Snow in addition to Pat Monahan of Train on the band's hits "Calling All Angels" and "Drops of Jupiter".
In 2016, James appeared as a finalist and was chosen as the winner of the 19 and over category in "Morristown OnStage" at the Mayo Performing Arts Center for his rendition of James Taylor's "Shower The People" in front of a packed house of 1,300 people. That performance led to Gedeon opening for the iconic band "America" at an April 2016 concert at a sold-out MPAC in Morristown, a show at which James received rave reviews from the audience, and from America.
Currently in the studio recording new material for his upcoming album and in rehearsals for his James Taylor tribute show, Gedeon continues to pursue his music with the same passion that drove him during his early performances in Greenwhich Village more than 25 years ago.
Some of James' most notable music clients have included ESPN Radio, Life Project For Africa, CNN, WPLJ, 77WABC in New York and The New York Jets.

With a strong reception to the first EP, the guys collaborated in the fashion of Jamie Cullum and Michael Buble to release a hybrid Original/Cover LP entitled, “Take Two.” This album features classics such as Run Around Sue, Earth Angel and their original, award winning smash hit, “Mama Said.” Currently the Doyles are recording in NYC and can be found playing great clubs across Manhattan.
